American Development Group (ADG) is a privately held real estate development company focused on the creation of luxury housing and prime office space. We identify opportunities for new construction and the enhancement of existing assets in niche markets throughout the New York Metropolitan area. Our services include acquisitions, marketing, construction management, development and finance.
Our goal is to improve neighborhoods through select development, as well as to generate string investment opportunities for our partners. American Development Group and its principal, Perry M, Finkelman has been developing projects for over 30 years with a development history of building and renovating over 175 buildings with over 6000 residential units and office and industrial complexes in both the luxury and affordable arena throughout the New York Metropolitan area.
In addition American Development Group continues to seek out development opportunities in Residential and Commercial projects in the New York area, as well as Parking Lot projects throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Gary Griggs, AIA
Project Manager
Gary Griggs, Project Manager of the American Development Group, is responsible for directing the company's Rehabilitation and Conversion projects. With over 15 years experience in building design and construction, he has been involved with the development of custom residences, apartment buildings, and office buildings.
Mr. Griggs is a licensed Architect with a Masters Degree in Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania and a Masters of Business Administration from New York University. Significant projects include the complete renovation of 250 Broadway, 59 Maiden Lane and 90 Church Street, major office properties located in lower Manhattan.

Brian J. Lockner
Head of Investments and Finance
Brian Lockner has served as American Development Group’s Head of Investments and Finance for the past four years, managing the company’s banking relationships and equity investments. He also directs ADG’s real estate transactions, handling all broker relationships and site selection for the company.
Prior to joining ADG, Mr. Lockner was a Senior Broker with Haysventures, a boutique real estate consulting firm. At Haysventures, Mr. Lockner was responsible for the firm’s rapid grown, and helped determining its strategic direction—including sharpening its focus on consulting on behalf of large institutional buyers in off-market acquisitions. Before joining Haysventures, Mr. Lockner worked as a salesman at Besen & Associates, closing several deals valued in excess of $35,000,000 total.
Mr. Lockner also spent several years in the political world, working for the National Jewish Democratic Council as Associate Development Director and Young Leadership Director. In this role, he managed political fundraising operations for the organization, as well as handling major fundraising events for then Vice President Al Gore, President Bill Clinton and First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton, as well as several Members of Congress. He helped raise several million dollars over the course of his career.
Mr. Lockner currently resides in Park Slope, Brooklyn with his wife Rachel and son Avi. He remains active in politics, pro-Israel advocacy and local community organizations.

Perry Finkelman, CPM®, RAM
Partner and Managing Director
Perry Finkelman is a Partner and Managing Director of the American Development Group. He has over 20 years experience as a leader in real estate management, marketing, finance, investment and development. Mr. Finkelman has created over 3,000 apartments, and has successfully built and managed office, industrial and retail projects throughout the New York Metropolitan region.
Additionally, Mr. Finkelman is a Partner and Managing Director of Automotion Parking Systems, a high technology company which develops automated high efficiency parking warehouses.
Mr. Finkelman graduated from the Bernard M. Baruch College of The City of New York and is a Certified Property Manager (CPM®) affiliated with Langsam Property Services, an AMO® organization, and a Registered Apartment Manager (RAM). Other professional affiliations include the Rent Stabilization Association, Community Housing Improvement Program (CHIP), Associated Builders and Owners, Bronx and Manhattan North Board of Realtors, Long Island Board of Realtors, and NYS Energy Efficient Building Association. Additionally, Mr. Finkelman was the Chapter President of the Institute of Real Estate Management for Long Island from 1992 to 1996.
Mr. Finkelman is on the Board of Directors of a number of organizations including the Long Island Division of the Jewish National Fund, State of Israel Bonds and The Hebrew Academy of Nassau County. Mr. Finkelman has been a benefactor of the Cleveland School of Music, Music for Autistic Children Program.

Nada Ivkovic, CE
Project Manager
Nada Ivkovic, CE has more than ten years of engineering, project and construction management, estimating, scheduling, budget preparation and contract negotiation experience.
Born in Serbia, Mrs. Ivkovic obtained a Masters of Science in Construction Management from Belgrade University of Civil and Structural Engineering.
She has been involved in development of hotels, hospitals, airport facilities, sports centers, power plants. She has hands-on-knowledge of construction management principles and industry standards; an extensive working knowledge in project controls, including cost and budget control, knowledge of all architectural and structural trades.
She is experienced in administrative and technical management of the project and the supervision of all activities related to contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, and schedule.
She is experienced in working in different countries that include: U.S.A, Serbia, Russia, Italy, and Malta.

Ari Milstein
Automotion - Director of Planning
Ari Milstein is responsible for directing the Company's Automated Parking venture. Ari works with real estate developers and other partners to maximize land use and development opportunities utilizing new automated parking technology. AutoMotion's parking system utilizes an elevator and track system that parks and retrieves cars automatically without the car having to be driven or the need for human assistance. Since no car doors are opened and no ramps are needed for driving, this system is significantly more efficient than its conventional alternatives. With extensive knowledge of local zoning restrictions, Automotion's personnel are able to maximize the parking capacity at a site, often without any FAR impact. Additionally, Automotion offers innovative financing options to developers and garage operators.
Prior to joining the company he was employed by XL Capital Assurance and Ernst & Young. At XL, Ari was responsible for underwriting large residential mortgage transactions. As Assistant Vice President in the Consumer Finance department, Ari underwrote over 20 mortgage securitizations, many over $1 billion dollars in size. While working at Ernst and Young, Ari was responsible for the analysis of multiple New York City development projects, including the proposed West Side stadium. His analysis included reviewing multiple land use options as well as a financial analysis of several different project options. Mr. Milstein graduated Magna Cum Laude from New York University's Stern School of Business with a Bachelor of Science. He is an avid golfer and involved in multiple charity and political organizations, including AIPAC and Sloan-Kettering Hospital.
